Elmira College Appoints Franon Wilson

We are please to announce the appointment of Franon Wilson, President of Arawak Homes to the Elmira College Board of Trustees for his continued contributions to the student experience through his work on the Enactus (formerly SIFE) Essay Scholarship Contest.

Each year an essay contest is held in the Bahamas among High School students for a scholarship opportunity at Elmira College. We are especially proud of Franon and Shelly Wilson who have worked diligently to ensure that this opportunity for high school students continues to exist.

Elmira College is a traditional, fully residential liberal arts college with a historical association with Mark Twain. This private institution was founded in 1855. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,358 and the campus size is 55 acres. Elmira College’s ranking in the 2013 edition of Best Colleges in Regional Colleges (North), 7.
